Mother's Day Gift

Frank, my son came to see me on Mothers Day.  Frank, Carolyn and Debbie gave me money.  You know money is always the right color and the right size.  My hair dresser, Evon Jones painted these pot holders.  I bought this one and a lavender one with Mother's Day money.  I had already bought three yellow ones and one pink. I cooked Frank's dinner and we really had a good visit.  I have yellow Joseph's Coat, Purple Potato Vine, Indian Curry,  Small Leaf Fern andYellow Rose Moss in this pot.  I am hoping the potato vine covers this flower bed.

I took about a dozen  pictures of this plant, Scaevola a good hanging plant.  If you plant it in your flower bed it will run every where.  I am hoping it will get into my flower bed and root.  This was the best picture of those I took.
This one is still not dark enough, the Scaevila is still not dark enough.  I took some with sun and most with sun.

This potato vine has lavender around the edges. I had a hard time getting the lavender to show up.

I bought several of the annuals in this pot.  I  planted them in my bed to fill in the empty places until fall.
The tall plant, with red in it is  Indian Feathers, the silver colored plant is Indian Curry.    Also in the pot is an orange and yellow Gerber Daisy, yellow Rose Moss, and a light green Potato Vine.
I hope you have enjoyed this blog page.  Thank you for watching my garden grow and bloom, hope you will grow one of your own.  Happy gardening to you from Carrel and I, Juanita.

    1. She is quite talented. I could not get anything to grow in between the roses and I hate blank spots. So the pot holder salved the problem. Thank you for stopping.
